Meet C.M. Jaspers
C.M. Jaspers writes mythic, character-driven fantasy that explores the quiet edges between destruction and rebirth. Her debut novel, Ashes of Hope: Phoenix Rising, weaves together themes of memory, motherhood, and the enduring resilience of the human spirit in a world learning to heal.
When she isn’t writing, Jaspers can often be found lost in her garden, coaxing life from the soil, or wandering through the woods and mountains that inspire her stories. She believes deeply in the power of empathy, imagination, and hope — even when the world feels like it’s burning.

Author Thought
Ashes of Hope: Phoenix Rising started as a reflection on healing — both personal and collective. I wanted to explore what happens when the world itself remembers everything we’ve done to it — and how love, courage, and compassion might be the only things powerful enough to set it right again. It’s about humanity’s potential to rise, even after ruin.

A Journey of Hope and Renewal.

“When the Earth remembers, it does not forgive.”
But it does not forget love, either.
Every story begins with a question — and for Ashes of Hope: Phoenix Rising, that question is:
What if the Earth itself wanted to heal, but humanity wasn’t ready to change?
At its heart, The Phoenix Centennial series explores the fragile intersection between destruction and renewal, love and loss, faith and memory. Below are some of the central themes woven through the story’s fire.
